Our Scripture reading today is Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

We are born in sin and condemnation. This was past on to us by our first father, Adam.
Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"  “It is no pleasant task to us to have to speak of this matter; but who are we that we should ask for pleasant tasks? What God hath witnessed in Scripture is the sum and substance of what the Lord’s servants are to testify to the people. If you are not in Christ Jesus, and are walking after the flesh, you have not escaped from condemnation.” (Spurgeon)

God does not condemn His Son, Jesus Christ. Once we choose to be in Christ, we are
no longer under any condemnation. Have you made this choice? Acts 16:31, "Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." If you have, rejoice
in the fact that you are freed from any condemnation. Hallelujah!
