Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 6:2, "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)"
There are several words that are repeated in this one verse of Scripture: accepted, day, salvation, and one more...NOW.  Once again, I am reminded and challenged with the urgency in the day in which I am living.  How can I not be urgent about telling someone about what Jesus means to me and doing it NOW?  There is no better time than NOW to deny self and live for the Lord.  There is no better time than NOW to stop living for the temporal and start living for the eternal.  We must start redeeming the time, because the days are getting more evil by the minute.
God's Word admonishes us time and time again to be in and stay in the will of God.  James 4:14 is one of those times, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."  By God's grace, let's use our vapour NOW to speak of Jesus and His love for fallen man!
