Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 28:9, "Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them
also, and lift them up for ever."

The psalmist reminds the people of God what He can and will do for them. There
are four specific words mentioned: save, bless, feed and lift. Each one of these
words tells of a blessing that God desires to bestow upon us.  “Jesus does not simply lead us to green
pastures and still waters…He bears us up, and He does so for ever. Never tiring, though He imparts
infinite rest; never ceasing for a moment his shepherd-care.” (Meyer)

We have everything we could ever need. It is continually supplied by almighty God.
It is our responsibility to ask, seek, and knock. He will supply our daily needs according to His riches.
