Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 58:11, "And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not."
Once a sinner is saved by the grace of God, he or she still needs that grace to
provide the daily spiritual nourishment. A promise here from the prophet that
the LORD will give us all that we need. It is our responsibility to continually
come to Him by faith and ask Him for all that we need.
The world is a draining place spiritually. We must take time daily to feed on
God's Word. God will reinvigorate us to live for Him and point others to know
Christ as Saviour.
