Our Scripture reading today is Hosea 4:6-8.
Verse 6, "...seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
How quickly can we lose the blessings of God? The enemy does not waste any time seeking to disrupt and destroy our homes. He is always aiming at the next generation. Deception is waiting around every corner for our children. We must be doing our part to reach the next generation with truth! It is our responsibility to teach Biblical truths to those in our home. These truths should not only be taught, but we must pray that they also be caught. This means that we are praying for the next generation to say yes to the Word of God. Are you teaching those who you influence to love and obey God? Do your children see someone in you that is faithful to the Lord Jesus? Do you want your children to be blessed by God? May God help us to be leading the next generation of born again believers to live righteous and humble lives.
