Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 37:5, "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he
shall bring it to pass."
Most if not all born-again Christians would say they want God to bless their life. We need
God to bless our lives. The psalmist reminds us of the first step to God's blessings. It is
our responsibility to yield our way to the LORD. Have you fully surrendered to God's
way and will in your life? Many times, God's children want God to approve of their plans
when they should be asking Him to lead them through His plan.
1 Corinthians 6:19, "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"
Stop telling God what you are going to do and start trusting Him with the steering
wheel of your life.
