Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 119:122, "Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me."
“We should have been crushed beneath our proud adversary the devil if our Lord Jesus had not stood
between us and the accuser, and become a surety for us.” (Spurgeon)
Today and every day, we can rejoice in what God provided us through His Son. Satan
has no right to us because of the Lord Jesus. His death, burial, and resurrection mean
that the victory has been won over death, hell, sin, and the grave. This allows us to live from victory to victory.
We are on the winning side!
