Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 40:29, "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have
no might he increaseth strength."
What a comforting and reassuring promise we have in this one verse. God will give
power and strength to those who are weak and fainting. I am sure we can all relate
to this. Whether it be in spirit or body, these bodies of flesh will experience times of
exhaustion. It seems like we cannot go any further. Honestly, this is not a bad place to
be. When we arrive at this place, God is waiting there to provide all the power and
might that we need.
If you are there today, seek Him for the strength you need. He will enable you to rise
up like an eagle. He will give you the endurance to walk and run again for His glory.
The worse decision you can make is to stay down. Look to God! He is ready to
provide everything you need.
