Powerful Words

“Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him. And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.”

God’s Word is very powerful. God’s Word clearly brought conviction to the heart of the king. The word of man can do so little compared to the Bible.  When witnessing, we should speak as much as possible with the words that came from the Holy Spirit.  These Words will penetrate a darkened heart and will give light. 

As a Christian, we must take time daily to read and meditate on God’s powerful words. They will give us courage and peace to live in victory.
