Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 27:8, "When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto
thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek."
We should make this a daily goal. Seeking the face of the LORD means we want to be
close to Him. The closer we are, the more obvious His will becomes. It also brings
great peace to be near the One Who loves us and provides for us. God is good and
will be our ever present help in time of need. When we seek God's face, we are also
looking for His favour. The world in which we live is becoming more and more
anti-God. God's children need to seek His favour in order to have the courage needed
to stand against error and the spirit of anti-Christ.
