Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 4:3-6.
Verse 4, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
Most every time I read this verse, I am reminded of a Sunday school song from my childhood.  "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine, this little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine."  The light in this song really isn't little.  The light is referring to our testimony of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We who have been born again by the Spirit of God are to spread the light in a world filled with darkness.  We also read in verse that the god of this world (Satan) is working to continue to keep lost souls in spiritual darkness.
If born again believers do not shine their light, how will unbelievers come out of darkness?  By the way, the light we have to shine is from the Lord Jesus.  John 1:6-9, "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that LightThat was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."
We must do our part to send the LIGHT!
