Our Scripture reading today is Job 35:10, "But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs
in the night;"
There are many Bible examples of people who experienced great difficulties, but there
may not be any greater example than Job. He went through the darkest of nights when
he suffered great loss. God was Job in all of the suffering and had an eternal plan in what
He was allowing to come into Job's life. God is always good.
I am thankful for the many songs in the night that God has ministered to me with during
my life. No Christian is immune to the "night". The idea of night is referring to dark and
difficult days. There are dark and difficult days because we live in a fallen world and we
are fallen people. God is not obligated to do anything for us, but He does give us songs
in night because He loves us. Stop allowing the enemy to control your mind and start
focusing on God's Word and listening for His songs in the night.
