Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 91:1-2.

Verse 2, "I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."

The words, "will" and "is", stand out when I read verse two.  Our writer is confident in
the LORD.  He is willing to let others know that God is a place of safety and strength.
God is his present tense (is) provider of his daily needs.  He does not say he "was" or
"will be".  God is right there with him meeting the need.

We have the same God of the psalmist.  It is our privilege and responsibility to speak of
God's goodness and grace poured out in our lives.  "Let the redeemed of the LORD say
so..." (Psalm 107:2)  He is our refuge and fortress.  He is our faithful provider and He
can be fully trusted with all our heart.  God is with you!
