Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 89:21, "With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm 
also shall strengthen him."
 
There was no question that God was with David and the One providing him with 
strength to be victorious. David was the anointed one to replace King Saul as king of
Israel. There were many times that God miraculously spared David's life when his
enemies were attempting to kill him. God promised David security and strength.
 
We are able to claim the same security and strength. God has not changed and He is 
able to meet our every need. Today is a day to thank God for salvation and security.
No one can take us from His hand. We are forever His children. Every day is a gift
from Him and an opportunity to experience His power for His glory. There is no greater
life to live.
