Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 57:15, "For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."
What a revelation we find in this Bible verse! God, the creator, will dwell with His
creation. God, the holy and lofty One, wants to be near you and me. The by-product of
being close to God is found at the end of this text - revival. Here is the key to having
revival. As children of God, we must desire to dwell with Him. God will change us from
the inside out. God will revive us again. Revival comes to those who want it. We must make the choice to
humbly draw close to the Lord.
