Our Scripture reading today is Exodus 15:2, "The LORD is my strength and song,
and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God,
and I will exalt him."

The very first part of the verse reminds us about the strength provided for us. It is not
our strength that we rely on. It is the strength of almighty God. He is more than able
to carry us through our days.  “Note, the word is not ‘The Lord gives me strength,’ but ‘The Lord is my
strength’! How strong is a believer? I say it with reverence, he is as strong as God — ‘The Lord is
my strength.’” (Spurgeon)

We are not to lean on what we can do, but on what He can do through us. I am thankful for the goodness
of God and His desire to make us more like Christ. He is deserving of all the exaltation we can give Him.
