Our Scripture reading today is Exodus 32:26, "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said,
Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together
unto him."

There will be numerous times in the life of the disciple of Jesus Christ that he or she
will need to take a stand for what they believe. This stand will take place amongst the
lost and even at times amongst the saved. It could cost us friends and even family
members. By cost, I mean the relationship will not be the same. There are numerous
Christians who are no longer welcome in their family due to their identification with
Jesus Christ.

I came across these three statements as it pertains to being on the Lord's side:

Being on the LORD’s side requires decision.

Being on the LORD’s side requires action.

Being on the LORD’s side requires separation.

It is time for the true followers of Jesus Christ to step forward and stand on the Word of God and give HIM
first place in their lives.
