Our Scripture reading today is Genesis 12:1, "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:"
Every time I read this verse, I am even more amazed at the level of faith it would have taken for Abram to pack up and leave what was familiar and maybe even comfortable. He did not have to know all the facts before following wherever God was going to lead him.
Are you willing to follow God wherever he leads you? For a grade 12 student who is about to graduate, it could be going to Bible college for one year. I still believe this is something every young person should do. For someone who does not regularly attend Gospel outreach, God is telling you to go. For someone who has not surrendered their life to the Lord, it is time to to surrender. The plan of God for our life is far greater than ours. He is faithful!
