Our Scripture reading today is Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
God's Word cannot be compared to any other book that has ever been written. The Word of
God is alive. It is a timeless Book. There is only one Book that can change a life like
the Bible. As it is read and meditated on, God's Word begins to do a work where no one
can see. The soul and the spirit are not visible to our eyes, but they are greatly impacted
by the Word of God.
There is never a time in our life that is too difficult for the Bible to carry us through. It
is filled with everything we need to live the victorious Christian life. It is no wonder why
the devil tries so hard to keep believers from opening it up, reading, meditating and obeying
what it says. If you haven't yet, take time to read the only living Book ever written.
