Our Scripture reading today is Exodus 36:1, "Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded."
It was "all hands on deck" when it came to getting things ready in the tabernacle. God
put it in them to do something for His service. Everyone had a way they could serve.
The same is true today for the local church. God has put you in the church not just
to sit in a chair or pew on Sunday and Wednesday. You have been saved to serve.
Every child of God has at least one spiritual gift that is to be used to edify and equip
others in the same local church. The church would have a far greater impact in the
community if every believer would be obedient to the Lord in the area of service.
Now is the time to be faithfully involved in the work of the ministry through your
local church. Be a serving individual. Be a serving family.
