Our Scripture reading today is Hosea 12:6, "Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually."
The day we realize that we need God for everything is a really good day. His help is needed even when we are returning to fellowship with Him. We are weak and broken people who must have God's power in order to live the Christian life for His glory. Psalm 121:2, "My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. The creator God has plenty of strength to carry us through each and every day.
Psalm 27:14, "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."
