Our Scripture reading today is Luke 8:47-48.
Verse 47, "And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately."
A display of Jesus Christ healing power as well as a powerful testimony were observed by this woman coming forth and declaring she had been healed. She came with an embarrassing disease and left with an incredible story of compassion and healing. This woman had endured so much and now she is blessed by the Messiah. Jairus was also in the crowd and this must have boosted his faith in Jesus.
What should we be declaring today? Has your heavenly Father blessed you in some specific way? He has most definitely blessed us all and it is our responsibility and privilege to declare it to as many people as possible. Our testifying will strengthen and encourage others. We should also be thanking and praising the LORD!!
