Our Scripture reading today is Luke 2:20, "And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God
for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them."
The shepherds had to be told before they could rejoice and give praise to the Lord. They
heard and saw things that brought a stirring in their heart. There is a great need today for
more servants of God who are willing to tell others the message of Jesus birth, life, death,
and resurrection. God's message is still causing a stir and saving the lost. This message
must be faithfully proclaimed. Romans 10:14, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they
hear without a preacher?"
