Our Scripture reading today is 2 Corinthians 5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather
to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
There was no doubt in Paul's heart and mind that when we left his physical body, he
would be in the presence of the Lord. He had this assurance due to the relationship
he had with God through Jesus Christ. If you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your
Saviour, you too, will be in the presence of the Lord when you die.
It is vital that we continue to preach the Gospel to those in our family as well as people
we meet day to day. The Gospel message is the only hope this world has to be changed
from darkness to light. Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection must be proclaimed
to as many people as we possibly can. Time is of the essence. Don't miss an opportunity
