Our Scripture reading today is Luke 24:34-35.
Verse 35, "And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread."
These men had walked approximately seven miles not knowing who they were walking with. Once it was revealed to them who it was, they decided to make the return trip to Jerusalem on the same day. I would imagine they walked a little quicker on the way back to Jerusalem. Their hearts will filled with a message that could not be contained. Jesus of Nazareth was alive!!
Over two thousand years have passed since this fourteen mile walk and the glorious message of Jesus resurrection is still changing lives! What a privilege we have to communicate this message wherever our feet take us. What are you doing to actively tell people the message of the Gospel? It should start within our homes and go out from there. The Gospel is only good news when someone hears it. Don't pass up the opportunities God gives you today to speak of Christ and His hope!!
