Our Scripture reading today is Jeremiah 29:12-14.
Verse 13, "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."
How important is it for you to know the will of God? How much time have you sought the Lord for an answer to a specific prayer request? Do we have faith enough to search and ask and do it again and again? Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
The word "search" carries with it the idea of beating down a path. The more we walk in a certain place; there will soon be a noticeable path beaten down. Is there a path beaten down to the Word of God and prayer in your life? This is one way we can be seeking the Lord's continual leading in our lives. He loves us and has a perfect will for our lives.
