Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 35:10, "All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee,
which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him
that spoileth him?"
The questions David ask have an obvious answer - no one is like the LORD. David
knew down to his bones that God was unmatched in His character and power. He will
deliver those who are in need. God is concerned about the weak and needy. Do you
find yourself being weak? It is not a bad place to be. I think admitting it can be
difficult for some. Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:10, "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong."
Cry out to God today like David's bones did. God is still ready and able to meet your
need.
