Our Scripture reading today is Genesis 50:20, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive."
"God meant it unto good." It wasn't "good" at the moment for Joseph, but God was working it to be good for many people in the end. Is there something in your life at the moment that you would not classify as good? I am sure we all thought of one or possibly even two situations that we would like to see removed from our life. We cannot see any good coming out of _______________.
God's Word reminds us today that God IS bringing something to pass. It is our faith in His working that carries us through each and every day. Paul wrote in Romans 8:28, "All things work together for good to them that love God..." My eyes may not see the good, but I must be anchored in the fact that God IS good and everything He does IS good.
