Our Scripture reading today is Luke 20:41-44.
Verse 43, "Till I make thine enemies thy footstool."
Right in the middle of this discussion with the religious leaders, Jesus quotes from the book of Psalm. There is much that we could say about the specific titles that are addressed, but for me this short verse was very helpful to me. It reminded me of Who is our strength. It reminded me that I don't need to fight any battles, because the Lord Jesus has made us more than conquerors. We are not able to overcome our enemy without Him. He is our faithful King!
Whatever battle is facing you, claim the victory in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
