Our Scripture reading today is John 1:45-46.
Verse 46, "And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see."
The theme behind a simple statement by Philip is one we should be using today. Philip challenges Nathanael to "come and see" for himself who Jesus Christ is. This is the One we have been waiting for. He is going to change the lives of everyone who comes to Him.
Our message should be simple as well. Come and see Who changed my life. If you are a born again Christian, you have a testimony. The testimony you have is not be hidden. Matthew 5:15-16, "Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." As God to lead you to someone today who you can introduce to Jesus Christ. You may not have the opportunity to speak at length with them, but be willing to tell someone, "Come and see."
