Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 4:25-27.

Verse 26, "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:"

We referenced this verse in the afternoon service yesterday.  It was in relation to our marriages and being willing to forgive and not keep track of all the faults and failures of our spouse.  An excellent reminder on this Monday morning as we seek to have Godly marriages.

In addition, we can apply this principle to all of our relationships.  The idea of not letting the sun go down carries with it a challenge not to wait too long to deal with a problem.  Time spent meditating on the injustice or offence will only make matters worse.  It very important that we seek God's wisdom in how to handle the problem as well as seeking help in offering forgiveness even if it isn't asked for.  Verse 27 tells us why we need to expedite the process.  If we don't, we are opening a place for the devil to work in our heart, and this never ends well.
