Our Scripture reading today is Luke 11:24-26.

Verse 26, "Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first."

We learn in our text this morning the importance of filling our lives with Biblical nourishment which leads us according to the will of God.  The world can be pushed far from us, but if we do not equip ourselves with what God has provided us, the world will come back with a vengeance.  "The heart of man has a vacuum-like nature to it. It has to be filled. If we empty our heart from evil without filling it with Jesus and His good, evil will rush in again to fill it — and sometimes worse evil than before."

It is good to be far from Satan and his devices, but we must draw near to the Lord Jesus.  He is the only One Who can fill our lives with what we truly need.
