Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 48:17, "Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One
of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou
shouldest go."
When we recognize our sinful condition and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation, we
are given eternal life. Hallelujah! God becomes our heavenly Father and desires to
lead us through life and all the way to Glory. He knows the best way for all of His
children to travel. If we trust for our eternal dwelling place, can't we trust Him with
our day-to-day life now? Yes, we can and should trust Him. Unfortunately, many of
God's children want to make their own decisions without giving much thought to
what God would have them do.
It is time for each of us to surrender our lives daily to the One Who knows exactly
what way we need to go. God can be trusted to lead us all the way.
