Our Scripture reading today is Luke 19:16-19.
Verse 17, "And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities."
The blessing that came to the servant was not as a result of how much he was give. His reward came because he was faithful with what he was given. It is also worth noting that his reward was more labour. This servant was given more trust by his master.
What does God trust us with? How much does God trust us? It is not how much we have or think we have, but it is very important that we are faithful with what God has given us. Faithfulness allows us to be entrusted with more labour. More labour allows us the privilege of bringing more glory to God!
