Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 119:75, "I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and
that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me."

God is always good in everything He does and allows into our lives. The creation has no
right to shake his or her fist at the Creator as if He has failed. As the psalmist writes, God
is even faithful when He brings afflictions into lives. They come with a purpose of
refining us and preparing us to bring Him more glory. When we realize this is why we
were created in the first place, it will help us to accept whatever He allows into our path.
Revelation 4:11, "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."

Our attitude and perspective will remain correct when we faithfully read and meditate on
God's Word. Another important piece to our Christian growth is to stay faithful to God's
house. Be in church every time the doors are open. Too many Christians have been
fooled by the devil to back away from God's family when life is difficult. The church
is needed all the time, but it is needed even more when we face the storms of life.
Don't run away from help; run to it!
