Today's Scripture reading is Hebrews 11:6.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
There are several parts of this verse that we could discuss, but the phrase that stands out to me today is "cometh to God..."  No doubt there will be challenges and difficulties come into our life in 2021.  Possibly, you are in the middle of something right now.  Who will you turn?  Who will you depend on?  The writer of Hebrews emphasizes coming to God.  He never fails.
A very familiar verse in Proverbs tells us to, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (3:5)  My faith ought to find a resting place in the loving, powerful arms of the Lord Jesus.  As His children, we are able to go to Him boldly and go to Him often.  He is waiting to hear from you now.
I pray the following hymn will be an encouragement throughout your day.
My Faith Has Found a Resting Place by E. E. Hewitt

My faith has found a resting place
Not in device nor creed
I trust the Ever-living One

His wounds for me shall plead

I need no other argument
I need no other plea
It is enough that Jesus died
And that He died for me
