Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 50:10-12.
Verse 10, "For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills."
J. W. Peterson wrote the words and music to the song, "He Owns the Cattle."
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
The wealth in every mine;
He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
The sun and stars that shine.
Wonderful riches, more than tongue can tell -
He is my Father so they're mine as well;
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills -
I know that He will care for me.
God has everything we could ever need and He will care for us. Let's just say He HAS cared for us. We can and should trust Him for our daily needs. When the need is great; just remember, God is greater than the need!
