Our Scripture reading today is Romans 6:15, "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid."

We are saved by grace and we have victory over sin by grace.  The Christian life is meant to be lived by and through the grace of God.  His grace is sufficient for our every need.  The longer we are saved it ought to be more and more difficult for us to sin.  While we will never get to a place of sinless perfection, we should sin less.  This can only happen as we rely on the grace of God.

Grace Greater Than Our Sin

1 Marvellous grace of our loving Lord,
Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!
Yonder on Calvary's mount out-poured–
There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.

Refrain:
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God's grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin!

2 Sin and despair, like the sea-waves cold,
Threaten the soul with infinite loss;
Grace that is greater– yes, grace untold–
Points to the Refuge, the mighty Cross. [Refrain]

3 Marvellous, infinite, matchless grace,
Freely bestowed on all who believe!
All who are longing to see His face,
Will you this moment His grace receive? [Refrain]
