Our Scripture reading today is Isaiah 46:9-11.
Verse 10, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:"
The Word of God teaches that when a lost sinner turns to Jesus Christ for salvation, he becomes a part of the family of God.  John 1:12 says we, "become the sons of God."  This would make God our Father.  With that in mind, the 10th verse of our text today offers us great hope as it is the resume of God.  The prophet Isaiah is writing about the One Who we can pray to without ceasing.  Someone said, "God isn't just watching the entire parade of history, He is directing the parade."  In other words, God is even in control during very challenging and discouraging times.  Praise God!
We are told in this text to remember.  Far too many Christians are living defeated lives because they forgot Who enabled them to live in victory.  They forgot how they overcame in the past.  God sees each one of us today and He knows exactly what we need and do not need.  Our eyes should not be on the swirling circumstances around us, but on our Anchor, the Lord Jesus Christ!
"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."  Ecclesiastes 3:11
