Hearing God's Word

Verse 16, "...which heard the words of God,"

In the days we are reading about in Numbers 24, the people did not have the complete written Word of God.  God would speak to the prophets, who would in turn deliver the message to the people.   Balaam is delivering a message that he heard from God Almighty.

God has given us His completed written Word!  We have access to the Book that is God breathed and alive.  The Word of God provides spiritual nourishment for the believer as well as salvation knowledge for the unbeliever.  The more time we can give to hearing the words of our God, the more prepared we will be for every day He gives us.  Thank you, God, for the blessing of your Word!
