Our Scripture reading today is 2 Peter 2:4-9.

Verse 9, "The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:"

There is coming a day when the unjust will face God's judgment. The unjust are those who have not turned to Jesus Christ for salvation from their sin. Unfortunately, many people will be judged for their sin. Revelation 20:14-15, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." This will be an irreversible event. While God is love, He is also just. He will fulfill what His Word has said will take place.

We have an opportunity every day to warn people of the judgment that it is to come. Our warnings ought to be filled with the love of God. In other words, we tell people of God's love for them and His provision of a Sacrifice for their sins. Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus Christ willing laid down His life so that sinners like you and me can avoid the eternal judgment of Hell and spend eternity in Heaven.

Plan to give out the Gospel every day. The simplest and easiest way is to give out Gospel tracts. Start or re-start giving out the Gospel. There is not time to lose!
