Our Scripture reading today is 2 Chronicles 20:10-12.
Verse 12, "O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee."
In these verses, we learn a valuable lesson from King Jehoshaphat. In time of great uncertainty, he led the people to fast and pray. They took their concerns and fears to the only One who could deliver them.
It matters not how difficult the task may seem, we have an all powerful God in Heaven that will give us the victory. Does it seem impossible for a certain family member to be saved? Is there a besetting sin in your life that you cannot overcome? The answer to every question of life is to turn your eyes upon the Creater God! The key to victory is always trusting in His plan. "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
