Our Scripture reading today is Luke 2:15-16.
Verse 16, "And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger."
The angelic message had been delivered right on time. The shepherds were in the right place to hear the message sent from God. Now, what were they going to do? I love the first part of verse 16, "They came with haste..." There was no time to delay. Let's go to Bethlehem!! That is exactly what the shepherds did.
What message has God delivered to you in recent days? One way God speaks to us is by His Spirit through His Word. What is it that you keep delaying to do, but you know you need to do it? We need to follow the example of the shepherds and make haste to get done whatever God's Spirit is leading us to do.
Exodus 14:15, "And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:"
