Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 90:12.
"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
Each day we have is a precious gift from our God. In order to use the days that are left for His glory, we need to seek His wisdom. The Apostle Paul writes in James 4:14, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." I am sure it is quite obvious to each of you at how quickly time goes by. As a spouse, we only have so much time to love and serve our mate! As a parent, we only have so much time to bring our children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord! As a brother or sister in Christ, we only have so much time to edify one another! As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, we only have so much time to be a witness of His saving power! Use your time wisely. Praise God for another day!
