Our Scripture reading today is Acts 4:8-12.
Verse 12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
There were many other boys born in this time period who were give the name Jesus.  It was actually a common name.  However, we are given a more descriptive wording of his name in verse 11 - "Jesus Christ of Nazareth".  It was this Jesus Who was born of a virgin.  It was this Jesus Who wanted to be doing His Father's business at a very early age.  It was this Jesus Who welcomed those whom no one else wanted.  It was this Jesus Who poured Himself into 12 of the most unlikely men.  It was this Jesus Who was unjustly crucified in order to pay sin's penalty for the world.  It was this Jesus Who conquered death and hell by raising back to life 3 days and 3 nights after the crucifixion.  It was this Jesus Who said He would come again and receive His children unto Himself.  It was this Jesus that God the Father gave to sinful mankind that we might be redeemed!  There is only ONE, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Do you know Him?
