Our Scripture reading today is Philippians 3:21, "Who shall change our vile body, that
it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is
able even to subdue all things unto himself."
What a day that will be when our new bodies we receive. No more curse to
deal with on a daily basis. No more suffering from physical and emotional
trauma. Anyone who has trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour will
receive a glorified body like His. This is a future promise. Right now, our
inside has been made new. Our spirit was made alive the moment we
said "yes" to Jesus.
There is an additional promise at the end of this verse. The Lord Jesus is
willing to enable us to have victory over temptation. His power will make us
what God intended us to be. This is not something we can accomplish in our
own strength. Claim that promise and seek the Lord for His subduing today.
