Our Scripture reading today is Acts 26:24-27.
Verse 25, "But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness."
What an opportunity God gave the Apostle Paul to speak the truth.  Whether he stood before political or religious leaders, he spoke the message God gave to him.  In this case, the Roman governor, Festus, thought Paul was a mad man due to the doctrine he was teaching and preaching.  Whether or not he had broken the law, he was a lunatic and should be pitied and definitely not heeded.
When truth is presented, the world will think much the same today.  Titus 2:4 declares us to be peculiar people, "Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."  We are not responsible for the truth being received, but once the truth has set us free; we ought to be delivering it whenever we possibly can.  The salvation that we received by grace through faith should motivate us to faithfully speak the truth in love.  Ephesians 4:15, "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"
