Our Scripture reading today is Ephesians 2:14-18.
Verse 14, "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"
The peace that we have with God is His Son, Jesus Christ.  He not only provided peace, He is peace.  We have access to the Father through the Son.  In the temple, in between the court of the Gentiles and the court of the women, there was a physical barrier, an actual wall of separation between Jew and Gentile.  In Jesus Christ, this wall no longer exists.  Paul was actually in prison writing this epistle.  He was there for taking a Gentile into the temple and past the wall of separation.
As we consider the peace that Jesus Christ provided us with God, it should bring us to a place of doing everything we can to have peace with all men.  Hebrews 12:14, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:"  Part of this peace process is introducing people to the Prince of peace.  While the world searches high and low for peace, we know exactly where it can be found.  May we tap into the Holy Spirit boldness of the 1st century church and deliver a message of peace this week.
