Our Scripture reading today is Psalm 111:1-4.

Verse 4, "He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion."

We opened the 21st anniversary service with this encouraging and challenging Psalm.  I thought it would be very appropriate to reflect back on the memorable works of our great God from anniversary Sunday.  Since Wednesday of last week, we had been praying for 12 specific requests.  It might encourage you even more to read through those requests one more time.  They are not just for one Sunday, but they can continue to be our prayer request for Anchor Baptist Church.

I cannot help but praise Almighty God for the specific praises from the Lord's Day.  Two people entered into the Potters hands by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour!  There were at least 25 first time visitors that came as a result of being invited by someone from Anchor, receiving a flyer in the mailbox, or seeing the Facebook advertisement.  The Lord protected us from any harm including NO RAIN!  We saw several people from Anchor who had not been to church in some time.  As far as I know, the livestream worked across every platform. I am sure I missed something.

Take time today to thank our Potter for His hands of love and compassion as they continue to provide us rest and ready us for His perfect will.

Pastor
