Our Scripture reading today is Revelation 19:7-10.
Verse 9, "And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God."
The list of guests invited to this Heavenely supper consists only of those who by faith have repented of their sin and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. The RSVP has been sent out and the Groom awaits those who will respond. The RSVP is the Gospel. Whether or not you are in Heaven for all eternity depends on what you do with the Gospel. There are really only two choices: receive it or reject it. These two choices come with pre-ordained results. If you receive the Gospel message, your eternal home will be with the Lord Jesus in Heaven. If you reject the Gospel message, your eternal home will be with Satan in the Lake of Fire.
John writes that those who are on their way to this supper are blessed. They have spiritual happiness that cannot be received any other way. It will be a great privilege and honour to attend this supper and spend all eternity in the presence of our Saviour as well as family and friends.
The question is...have you responded to the RSVP? Are you saved? Have you turned to Jesus Christ and Him only for forgiveness of sins and salvation? Don't delay!!
